Help Scout Integration

If your team uses Help Scout customer support you can easily connect PageProofer to your Help Scout account. As notes are added in PageProofer, messages will be created in Help Scout with the note, attached files and screenshots, browser details and a link back to the specific page and note where the PageProofer note was added. As comments are added to the notes they will be added to the Help Scout message thread. With the Help Scout webhook as updates are made in Help Scout the PageProofer note will stay in sync with comments and status.

  1. Go to the 'Site Settings' screen in PageProofer, click the 'Integration' tab and then click the 'Help Scout' link.

  2. Sign into your Help Scout account, click the Account icon in to the top right corner and select Your Profile, then click the 'Authentication' link in the left bar. Click the 'Generate an API Key' and then copy that new key value. You can follow these directions if you need more help.

  3. Come back to the PageProofer tab and paste the API Key into the field.

  4. Select the Help Scout mailbox you want to use for the integration.
  5. Click 'Save' and the integration is ready to use. 

  6. Once you start adding notes in PageProofer you will see them added to your mailbox in Help Scout.
