Set up in about a minute
No plugins to install and nothing to host. PageProofer runs an MCP server, the standard way for AI agents to connect to other tools.
1. Create a token
In PageProofer, go to My Settings, open the AI agents tab and create a token.
2. Run one command
Copy the command from the AI agents tab (your token is already in it) and run it in your project folder. Other agents just need the URL and token.
3. Ask about your notes
Start your agent and talk to it like a teammate: "What's open on the Northwind site?" That's it.
For Claude Code, the command looks like this:

There's no special syntax to learn. Ask the way you'd ask a teammate and the agent works out the rest.

- Lists the open #checkout notes, newest first
- Groups them by page so you can see where the problems are
What's wrong in note 12? Look at the screenshot too.
- Reads the feedback and every comment
- Checks the element it was pinned to, the browser and window size

Find the code behind note 12 and fix it.
- Searches your project for the element's selector and HTML
- Makes the change and shows you the diff
Comment on note 12 with what you changed, then move it to Review.
- Posts a comment with the files and commit
- Moves the note to Review so someone can check it
- Everyone on the note is emailed as usual

Once you trust the routine, give the agent a batch of notes and let it work through them while you get on with something else.

You stay in charge
An agent can't mark a note Complete or Closed. When it's fixed something it moves the note to Review, so a person checks the fix on the site and closes it.

Questions
Which AI agents work with PageProofer?
Any agent that supports MCP servers over HTTP, including Claude Code and Cursor. Claude Code connects with a single command; for other agents you add the server URL and your token in their MCP settings.
Does it cost extra?
No. AI agent access is included on every plan, including during your free trial. You pay your AI provider for the agent as usual.
Does PageProofer see my code?
No. The agent runs on your computer with your code. PageProofer only gives it your notes and saves the comments and changes it makes to them.
Can the agent close notes?
No. Agents can comment, change the status, priority, assignee and due date, but only a person can mark a note Complete or Closed. Fixed notes go to Review for someone to check.
Will my clients see the agent's comments?
Comments from the agent are posted as you and emailed to everyone on the note, just like your own. Ask for an internal comment to keep it between your team.
How do I keep my token safe?
Treat it like a password: don't commit it to a code repository or share it in chat. You can create a token per computer or tool and revoke any of them in My Settings.
