Basecamp 3 Integration

If your team uses Basecamp 3 for project management you can easily connect PageProofer to your Basecamp project. As notes and comments are added in PageProofer, todos will be added and updated in Basecamp with links back to the specific page and note where the PageProofer note was added. 

With Basecamp webhooks as the Todo's are updated in Basecamp, comments and updates are sent back to PageProofer to keep the two systems in sync.

1. Go to the 'Site Settings' screen in PageProofer, click the 'Integrations' tab and then click the 'Basecamp 3' link.

   

2. Allow PageProofer to have secure access to your Basecamp account. 

   

3. Select the Basecamp 3 account and the project you want connected to your PageProofer site and then select the Todo List (or enter a name for a new Todo list) that will be used to track the PageProofer notes

   

4. Your site is now connected to Basecamp and the webhook integration is automatically created. As notes are aded in PageProofer you will see a new todo created in Basecamp. Comments added to the note in PageProofer will be added to the Basecamp todo and any comments or updates on the Basecamp todo will be reflected on the PageProofer note.

5. Once you start adding notes in PageProofer you will see them added to the Todo list in Basecamp

   

If your other PageProofer users have their own Basecamp accounts and they have access to the same Basecamp projects they can setup their own authorization so that when they add notes or comments in PageProofer it adds them to Basecamp using their Basecamp profile.

1. Click on the 'Settings' link in the top right corner of PageProofer after you have signed in

2. Click the 'Connect to Basecamp' link in the Integrations list

   

3. Allow PageProofer to have secure access to your Basecamp account.

   

4. Your user profile is now connected to Basecamp 3.
